Containerized Solutions – Turnkey Systems

Modular Prefabricated Installations for Rapid Deployment

Waste & Water’s containerized solutions (CDSU – Containerized and Deployable Skid Units) provide a flexible, fast, and cost-effective response to the treatment of industrial, municipal, and process water.

Based on ISO maritime containers (20’, 40’ or custom dimensions), they can integrate all types of treatment processes, including:

  • Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)
  • Polymer preparation and dosing systems
  • Disinfection systems (chlorination, UV)
  • Sand, activated carbon, or cartridge filters
  • Pumps, control panels, and SCADA automation systems

Benefits of Containerized Solutions

  • Fast installation: plug & play delivery
  • 100% in-factory assembly: no civil works required
  • Mobility: transportable for temporary or remote sites
  • Climate protection: thermal insulation, ventilation, heating or air-conditioning
  • Modularity: multiple containers can be interconnected
  • Compliant with CE, ATEX, or sanitary regulations, depending on the project

Typical Container Contents (customized per project)

Each unit is configured to client needs and may include:

  • Technical skid with piping, valves, and flow meters
  • Compact DAF system with air injection and flocculation
  • 3-chamber polymer preparation unit
  • Automatic chemical dosing skid (e.g., chlorine, pH, coagulant)
  • Granular media or cartridge filtration units
  • Control cabinet with PLC / touchscreen HMI
  • Buffer tank, transfer pump, sensors, and instrumentation

All components are prewired, factory tested, and delivered with hydraulic/electrical connection diagrams.

Example Applications

  • Mobile treatment plants for construction sites or military camps
  • Temporary extensions to existing treatment facilities
  • Leachate treatment at landfill sites
  • Industrial water from washing or production processes
  • Pretreatment before discharge or reuse
  • Remote areas with no existing treatment infrastructure

FAQ – Containerized Water Treatment

💬 What technologies can be integrated into a container?

We can integrate:

  • DAF systems
  • Sand or activated carbon filters
  • Chemical dosing units (chlorine, polymers, acids)
  • Physico-chemical pretreatment
  • UV or oxidation-based disinfection

💬 Can the container operate outdoors year-round?

Yes. Our containers are insulated, ventilated, heated or air-conditioned based on the local climate.
They are designed for autonomous 24/7 operation.

💬 Can the container be relocated?

Absolutely. All our systems are relocatable, making them ideal for temporary, multi-site, or emergency projects.

💬 What are the delivery lead times?

Depending on project complexity:

  • Standard units: 4 to 6 weeks
  • Custom units: 6 to 10 weeks after PID approval

💬 Can multiple containers be connected together?

Yes. We provide modular systems with simplified hydraulic and electrical connections.
Example: treatment container + storage container + electrical container
